The Glynn County Schools’ Book Space is a new initiative that blends literacy and nutrition. In collaboration with the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce and GP Cellulose, this mobile library will travel to various locations within our community, allowing students to borrow books each week and receive nutritious meals from our School Nutrition Department, all in one convenient stop.
The bus will run from now until Thursday, July 26. It will not be in operation on Wednesday, June 19 (Juneteenth) or the week of July 4.
Through this program, we aim to promote summer reading and contribute to the overall well-being of our community’s young learners—one page and one meal at a time. The library will offer books for all ages and grades and is available to all current K-12 students in Glynn County Schools.
