Goodyear proudly welcomed Dr. Oatanisha Dawson as Principal in September 2016. Dr. Dawson's experience in a variety of settings and roles has been an asset to our school, and that variety truly exemplifies the qualities of a leader. We look forward to each school year and future with her!

Dr. Dawson completed her seventh year as an Assistant Principal in the fall of 2016, having previously served at Greer Elementary in Brunswick. Her other experience in Glynn County spans sixteen years, including stints at Burroughs-Molette, Altama,  Jane Macon Middle, and Goodyear. Her roles at various schools have included paraprofessional, secretary, middle grades math teacher, and sixth grade specialist, as well as assistant principal. She was adjunct instructor at the College of Coastal Georgia for well over eight (8) years instructing future teachers. She holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Middle Grades Education (with a math and science specialty) from Armstrong State University as well as Master's, Specialist, and Doctoral degrees from Georgia Southern University.
